Windsurfing

After hosting the 2011 Junior Windsurfing World Championships two summers ago, we would love to continue introducing more kids to the sport of windsurfing. Our fleet of Bic Techno 293 windsurf boards are the perfect platform for one to learn on. The board is stable and has sufficient volume to get you started, but has footstraps and a retractable centerboard for high wind performance. We have an assortment of sail sizes from 2.5m to 6.0m. This class will teach you the fundamentals of windsurfing.

This class will build upon the fundamentals learned in the “Learn to Windsurf” program. All participants must have taken “LTW” and have the Sailing Directors approval to take this class. More advanced sailing and board handling techniques will be taught.
