Team StFYC wins Marblehead NOOD in Sonar Class

The StFYC is sending a team to the New York Yacht Club Invitational US Qualifier Regatta in September, and as part of the preparation, we have been sending  teams to the east coast to get time in Sonars and against some of the teams they will be facing.   This last weekend, Team StFYC was in Marblehead, MA for the NOOD regatta.   Russ Silvestri, Julie Papenek, John Collins & Holt Condon sailed a tough regatta and after a three way tie-breaker, emerged the winners!   Our second team, skippered by Ethan Doyle sailing with Peter Scott and Chris Smith, also sailed well, finishing 13th.
