Upon entering the inner channel, please make your presence known with a short blast on your horn. If the Port Captain or Island Manager is present, he will provide directions for berthing. Otherwise, secure your boat at an appropriate dock and consult with one of them when you come ashore.
Our Port Captain, Ed Igoe, is available to assist you in docking and to answer any questions you have about the island, its customs, rules and regulations. Each weekend during the regular season (May 15 to October 15) in the Port Captain’s absence, a Duty Port Captain will be designated and in charge of docking. His or her name will be posted at each Registration Station. If the Dock Captains are unavailable to assist you, please contact the Duty Port Captain. You are expected to cooperate with requests made of you by the Dock Captains and/or Port Captain.
Please see the Port Captain or Duty Port Captain to secure the decal required for small watercraft, and to register any small boats or personal watercraft that you plan to use while on the Island.
After you have docked, please register by clicking HERE. You can also use the on-island registration stations located at the Lanai Bar and at the West Dock bath house.
