Gary is a renowned sailor, TV commentator, author of 19 books, Editor at Large of Sailing World and Cruising World magazines and VP of ISAF. He is a Past President of US Sailing, a member and President of the National Sailing Hall of Fame and a member of the America’s Cup Hall of Fame. He has won the America’s Cup, the Fastnet Race and too many more to list here. Gary was a three-time collegiate All American and twice College Sailor of the Year. He’s won Emmys and other broadcast awards for his coverage of the America’s Cup, the Olympics, the Volvo ‘Round the World Race and other sailing adventures.
