Associate Member Jan Wahl is San Francisco's favorite movie reviewer and film historian. An Emmy-winning producer, entertainment reporter and film critic, she screens and critiques hundreds of films each year and interviews the on-screen talent. Jan has enough celebrity stories to entertain you for hours and her hilarious delivery and exhaustive film knowledge makes her a sought-after speaker in her field.

On March 1 at 7:00pm, days before the 90th Academy Awards, Jan will visit the St. Francis Yacht Club to present a pre-Oscars showcase, "Jan Wahl Goes to the Oscars." She has seen and critiqued this year's nominees and has some thoughts on who will win, who will lose, and who never should have been invited.
