Commodore's Cruise 2018
Destination: The Spectacular Dalmatian Coast of Croatia
DATES
The cruise dates are confirmed for departure on Saturday, September 29 boarding at 1700 in Split and return on Saturday, October 6 in Dubrovnik at 0900. We will cruise one way, from Split to Dubrovnik, which seemed to be a preferable itinerary. Travel, if needed, from Dubrovnik returning to Split can be made by various ways: Travel from Dubrovnik to Split
FLAGSHIP/CHARTER
We are very excited to confirm Cesarica as the flagship gulet. The Cesarica is a lovely vessel, built in Croatia out of wood, larger than most gulets and comes highly recommended. Cesarica has 11 double cabins to accommodate 22 people with heads en suite. For more information, click HERE.
· Gulet: We will be adding more gulets as the reservations demand. Please indicate any preferences in your registration.
· Charter: You are also welcome to charter a smaller, more private vessel with a group of close friends, if you prefer.
SINGLE TRAVELERS
We have a plan that will accommodate single travelers attending the cruise.
· Gulet: We are connecting single travelers for camaraderie and shared gulet cabins. The Club books the gulet charters.
· Charter: Charter yachts may be a less expensive way to have a private cabin. The boat charters are booked individually by members. A Croatia-specific captain’s license/certification is required.
COST
The cost of the cruise depends on which boat option is chosen.
· Evening Events: The cruise attendee cost (for ALL attendees) is $400/person, which includes 2 cocktail parties on the Flagship, 3 dinners ashore, and cruise swag.
· Boat Cost:
Option 1: The cost for a gulet is expected to be $2500/person, including 4 dinners aboard and alcohol. Gulet berths are double occupancy (either queen or twin beds).
Option 2: The cost for charters is generally less than the gulet cost and estimated between $1000 and $2500/person. These may vary significantly depending on the size/type of boat chartered and the number of people on board. Charters are arranged directly by each member.

IMPORTANT: Please indicate in your registration if you prefer the gulet option or if you have already booked a charter.
ITINERARY
Arrangements will be provided for recommendations of on-shore activities and cultural experiences. Some of these activities include:
· Different destination each night, with a mix of remote and charming town anchorages as well as seaside towns and villages.
· On-shore visits to historic locations and cultural experiences and all that this magical area has to offer. Our contact at the Adriatic Maritime Institute (AMI) is arranging maritime related activities.
· Suggestions from locals at each destination for discovering hidden adventures and must-see attractions, depending on each member’s interests.
We are so excited for this epic cruise to one of the most beautiful and historic sailing waters in the world. Our StFYC flotilla will be great fun and a wonderful way to spend the week with your fellow StFYC members!
Hope to see you in Croatia!
