Please join us for a virtual tasting of one of Napa’s most renowned wine producers, Staglin Family Vineyard. Led by Shannon Staglin, this tasting will explore the winery’s history, terroir and philosophy of wine and winemaking. Founded in 1985, Staglin Family Vineyard has long been regarded as one of Napa’s premier wineries, and its Cabernet Sauvignon has contributed to Napa’s global reputation. Staglin Family Vineyard is located in the Rutherford appellation of Napa Valley, the historic heart of the valley and an area known for producing distinctive wines. The 60-acre vineyard site dates back to 1864 and is now organically farmed.
We will be tasting Staglin’s 2014 Salus Estate Cabernet Sauvignon and their 2019 Salus Estate Chardonnay. Both years were excellent vintages, and the Cabernet should be drinking very nicely now. As with all of our tastings, we anticipate that the conversation around these wines will be lively and interactive.
The package of two 750 ml bottles will be available from the winery for $150, plus tax and shipping.
There are two options for receiving your wine:
The Zoom link to attend the event will be sent directly to everyone who purchases wine. It will be posted the calendar event page prior to the commencement of the event. Members are welcome to participate in this free event even if they do not purchase wine.
