Few experiences can compare to campaigning to represent the US at the Olympic Games. The competition couldn’t be tougher, schedule fuller or pressure greater. Every day is filled with make-or-break decisions about time management, equipment selection, training partners, weather predictions and financial support—before a sailor even gets on the water. Daniela Moroz will share stories about her long road to Paris from being a kid-sailor at StFYC, competing around the world, qualifying for the 2024 Games in the exciting new Formula Kite class—which can foil above the water at 44 knots—and her plan to spend 80 of the next 150 days on the water of five different venues to shine on sport’s biggest stage!
