With Matt Brooks and Pam Rorke Levy serving as Honorary Chairs, paddles are sure fly. Reserve your seats today as early bird tickets are only available through February 5 at

Join us on March 12, 2019 for the 15th Annual St. Francis Sailing Foundation Auction, a highlight of the StFYC social season and your big chance to support young sailors at all levels of the sport, from kids who have never been out on the water to Olympic hopefuls who are among the best young sailors in the U.S. Our alumni include stars of US Olympics sailing and International competitions: Paul Cayard, John Kostecki, Caleb Paine, Paige Railey, Daniela Moroz, Johnny Heineken and Erica Heineken, while our young sailors receiving grants from the Foundation are among our country’s brightest prospects for future Olympics.

Your Generosity Made Waves

This past year, the Foundation partnered with US Sailing and Treasure Island Sailing Center (TISC) to form FAST USA, the Facility for Advanced Sailing and Technology, a partnership that will enhance the community-based activities of TISC and provide a flagship training base for the US Olympic Sailing Team.

FAST USA is a landmark achievement of the Foundation’s campaign to create a seamless pathway from beginner-level sailor to expert, an initiative known as “Puddles to Podium,” which is a dream the Foundation shares with its partners, Treasure Island Sailing Center and US Sailing.

With support from the Foundation, TISC welcomed 1,300 public school kids to the Bay through the “Set Sail Learn” program, most of them novices who might never have had an opportunity to otherwise get out on the water.

The Foundation also supported Community Sailing of Alameda; Call of the Sea; and Bay Area Association of Disabled Sailors (BAADS), all programs that introduced sailing to students, underserved youth and individuals who face physical challenges. Grants from the Foundation also made it possible for the StFYC Junior Program to provide sailing instruction for a record-number 538 students.

What to Expect at the 15th Annual Auction

The Foundation is excited to announce that Matt Brooks and Pam Rorke Levy are Honorary Co-Chairs of the 15th Annual Auction, as well as Gold-Level Sponsors at the $10,000 level. As long-time supporters of the St. Francis Sailing Foundation, Matt and Pam invite you to invest in the future of sailing by joining them on March 12. “Bring your credit card and come prepared to take advantage of some incredible deals at both the silent and live auction,” said Brooks. “We’re pulling out all the stops to offer some great items you won’t find anywhere else.”

Adding to the fun, guests will be invited to “sip and bid” at the Silent Auction preceding the Live Auction, featuring a terrific line-up of vintners such as 1849 Wine, S.R. Tonella, Duckhorn, DuMol, Far Niente, Möet Hennessy, Planet Wine’s French selections, and more.

Tickets are on sale now at or through the St. Francis Yacht Club’s Front Desk (415-563-6363). Space is limited and early-bird tickets end February 5, so don’t miss out on this wonderful opportunity to attend the event of the season and to bid on auction items that feature once-in-a-lifetime experiences and getaways.

Want to show your enthusiasm and support on an even greater level? Patron and Sponsorship packages are available online for every level between $500 and $10,000.

The Foundation is grateful to everyone who participates in the Auction this year and every year. A special thanks to early-bird sponsors Matt Brooks & Pam Rorke Levy (Gold-Level Sponsor) and the Driscoll Family Foundation (Bronze-Level Sponsor).
