Instruction and Summer Camps

St. Francis Yacht Club offers year-round youth sailing instruction.

New sailors start with the Learn to Sail program and grow into Learn to Race. Our youngest sailors (8-11) sail in Optis and RS Teras and around age 12, they switch into the C420. All boats are excellent training vessels, provided and maintained by the Club.

In the summer, StFYC offers multiple weeklong sailing camps, including overnight camps at Tinsley Island and day camps at the San Francisco clubhouse. All camps and clinics are open to members and non-members.
