What happens when some of the world’s best keelboat sailors climb aboard high-performance One Design boats on a famously windy racecourse for a world-class regatta? In the case of the J/111 Worlds, the result will involve tightly contested starting lines, high-drama mark roundings and ample bow spray.
Registration opens today for the 2017 J/111 Worlds hosted by St. Francis Yacht Club in San Francisco, CA from August 22–27, 2017. The Notice of Race includes two days of measurement followed by four days of racing on San Francisco Bay.
The 2017 J/111 Worlds will be hosted by St. Francis Yacht Club (StFYC) in San Francisco, CA from August 22–27, 2017. This will be the fourth World Championship for this competitive one-design class and its first on the U.S. West Coast.
