Award-winning Pinot Noir and Chardonnay Winemaker, Jamie Kutch of Kutch Wines, will host an exclusive and interactive live virtual tasting from his home in San Francisco with an in-depth discussion about his wines, exploring the terroir of two of his Sonoma Coast vineyard properties. Participants will be able to learn about and taste the expression of this terroir in his wines. Jamie will also provide information and imagery to help guests understand why the wines taste as they do. He will further discuss the unique characteristics of his single vineyard Chardonnay from Trout Gulch, Santa Cruz Mountains. This unique, cold climate site sits on the Pacific tectonic plate. These are old sea bed soils and these distinct, mineral driven wines are quite exquisite and additionally provide a platform for lively discussion around comparisons to other California Chardonnays. Jamie Kutch left behind a successful career in NYC in 2005 to pursue his dream of making California Pinot Noir and Chardonnay. His brand, Kutch Wines, started off with a production of just six barrels of Pinot Noir.
